While considering what future career to pursue, Matt observed his parents engaging with a financial advisor. Seeing the peace of mind they gained from working with a financial professional inspired Matt to look further into the investment management and financial planning field. The ability to be in a career where one can work with people and help them achieve their goals resonated with Matt.
Raised in Riverside, California, Matt moved south to San Diego State University and graduated with a B.S. in Business – Financial Service. While in college he took classes that eventually allowed him to sit for the CFP® exam, and also worked for a boutique wealth management firm. After graduating, he joined the Silversage Advisors team.
When out of office you can find Matt playing basketball, avidly supporting his SDSU Aztecs and favorite Southern California sports teams, searching for the best breakfast burrito, and spending time with family and friends.
